Therapy for Relationships and the People in Them
Hi, I'm Naila.
I am a relational therapist dedicated to helping people see themselves and others more fully. A multicultural upbringing with seven brothers gave me an early, ongoing education in discovering individuality through relationship with others, leading me to this work.
I work with romantic partners, families, friends, business partners , and individuals who want to understand themselves through their relational patterns and expand their sense of agency.
I view relationships as living systems that are continually co-created by the people involved. I take an active role in session, shaping dialogue and directing attention to help you step out of repetitive loops, work through interpersonal differences, and feel more connected.
Whether you're exhausted by cyclical arguments, frustrated by constant friction, or lonely in a distant dynamic, we'll work together to find a different way through.
I have an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University, where I also worked at the Center for Psychedelic and Consciousness Research. Accompanying people through altered states deepened my sense of what psychotherapy can open.
My approach is eclectic and integrative, tailored uniquely to each relationship or individual.
My work in psychedelic research, along with my interest in philosophy and Lacanian psychoanalysis, informs my therapeutic approach.
Below are some modalities I directly draw from.
Modalities
Struggle between people can be a major source of pain, but also a great gift.
By revealing the limits of perception, interpersonal conflict allows us to expand beyond what we are capable of alone.

What to Expect
-
We will start with a complimentary 15-minute phone or video call. This allows us to briefly discuss what you're facing and ensure my approach aligns with your goals.
-
If we choose to move forward, our first 2–3 sessions will serve as an in-depth assessment. If you're coming in with others, all members will meet together for every session. We will map the history of your relational patterns, identify your repetitive loops, and clarify what we're working toward.
-
From there, we enter regular, ongoing sessions.
Frequently Asked Questions
How often will we meet?To establish momentum and step out of repetitive patterns, we will begin by meeting weekly. As things shift and your communication becomes more collaborative and attuned, we can discuss transitioning to bi-weekly or monthly maintenance sessions.
What are your fees?My fees are structured by session length and session type:
Relationship sessions
75-minute session: $290
60-minute session: $230
Individual sessions
50-minute session: $190
Sliding scale options are available based on need.
Do you take insurance?I practice as an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance companies directly. Maintaining a transparent, out-of-network structure allows me to focus entirely on your needs without external diagnostic constraints.
Upon request, I can provide a monthly invoice (superbill) that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. I recommend calling your insurance company beforehand to verify your out-of-network behavioral health benefits.
